NetPoint CBRS 3 GHz

Why NetPoint at 3 GHz?

Growing demand for wireless connectivity is putting increasing pressure on capacity and spectrum availability for network deployment. Meeting the need for accessible spectrum has become a pressing challenge, prompting the industry to take proactive steps to address this issue.

A significant development in this regard is the allocation of 150 MHz of spectrum in the 3.5 GHz band for commercial use, which was made available to a broader market segment through the Radio Services spectrum band. Citizen Broadband Network (CBRS).

This initiative has led to the establishment of a shared access service, and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has established a three-tier access framework comprising incumbent users, Priority Access License (PAL) holders, and authorized users in general. The PAL auction is scheduled to begin in July.

Despite well-defined rules governing user access in the CBRS spectrum, the influx of CBRS users highlights the importance of meticulous frequency planning and interference mitigation techniques. In point-to-point connections, whether to the customer premises or backhaul, the antenna plays a critical role in defending against interference.

NetPoint's 3.5 GHz wireless and broadband satellite dishes are specifically designed to improve signal-to-noise ratios by increasing gain and reducing interference. This advancement in RF performance paves the way to achieve higher modulation rates, higher capacity and higher throughput on any point-to-point link.

NetPoint's 3.5 GHz wireless and broadband satellite dishes are designed to improve signal-to-noise ratio through improved gain and reduced interference. This improved RF performance will enable higher modulation rates, capacity and throughput for any point-to-point link. NetPoint 3.5 GHz antennas support applications including fixed wireless, mobility, public safety, railroads and utilities.
